Friendly House offers after school care for children in grades K-5.  Children participate in group and individual activities, receive homework help and enjoy enrichment and recreational activities.

Transportation from select schools is available.  The program operates Monday – Friday, beginning when children are out of school until 6:00 p.m.  Dates of operation are the first day of school until the last day of school.

The fee is $60 per week per student.  We accept childcare assistance through Iowa Department of Human Services.  Friendly House also offers scholarship opportunities, which makes the program affordable for all families.  The Friendly House Afterschool program is licensed for 60 children and meets all licensing requirements by the State of Iowa.
